Avon Lake Presbyterian Church fully supports the youth of the community, leading them to a life in Christ by providing healthy fellowship and Christ-centered study. Our statement above focuses on the need to be aware of the love and grace of our creator and acceptance in the great diversity of God’s children. Primarily built around a missional understanding of the Gospel, we focus on our responsibility to care for those less fortunate. The youth participate in a variety of mission activities from small, one-time events, to 7+ day mission trips at the local, national and international level.

The ALPC Youth groups consist of four separate groups: YCYG (young children’s youth group) for those in grades 4 and 5, Junior High for those in grades 6 through 8, Senior High for those in grades 9 through 12, and Young Adults (age 18+).

Non-members of ALPC are welcome to participate in any of the events, so long as they are the appropriate age, whether or not they have friends at a given event. Friends are encouraged to join! Events generally occur on Sunday evening, but times are dictated more on the activity.
