On Easter Sunday, April 1, we will greet the sun over Lake Erie at our sunrise service at 7am, when we think back to that morning in the garden by the tomb when Jesus burst forth defeating death. This service will be held on North Pointe Drive in Avon Lake.
We will have our glorious traditional service at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary. Since this year’s Easter falls on a Communion Sunday, we will also celebrate the Last Supper.
A yummy Easter Breakfast will be served by our Deacons in Hart Hall at 10am on Easter morning.
On Good Friday, March 30 at noon, we will meet to follow Jesus through his last moments before his death on the Cross. We will remember Jesus’s ultimate sacrifice for us: his crucifixion. The story will be told through scripture and a sermon by Pastor Charlie.
